SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Mr. Schoendorf is a Partner in the firm's Litigation Support Services Practice.
With more than 12 years of experience in this area of practice, Mr. Schoendorf has played a hands-on role in commercial damages litigation, forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and bankruptcy and insolvency support engagements. He has also been approved by the Bankruptcy Court to represent debtors-in-possession in reporting to the Court and has been a Court appointed receiver for various industries.
With over 30 years as a hands-on controller and chief financial officer, Mr. Schoendorf has gained substantial experience in managing both fast growing and troubled companies. He assists clients with operations management, cash flow planning and merger and acquisition analysis (M&A). His specific areas of expertise include:

- Bankruptcy and insolvency
- Commercial damages litigation
- Development and construction
- Forensic accounting
- Fraud investigation
- Real estate brokerage
- White collar crime
Mr. Schoendorf is knowledgeable in Chapter 11 reorganizations, including preference analysis and debtor-in-possession reporting. He can assist you in a full range of bankruptcy support roles.
Having a CORE training certification, Mr. Schoendorf is licensed to be an administrator of up to three assisted living facilities ("ALF") in the State of Florida. He has been a receiver of a 76 bed ALF.
Real estate was the focus of Mr. Schoendorf's early accounting career, including the position of Regional Controller for Arvida Corporation. While at Arvida, he was involved in the prestigious community of Coco Plum in Coral Gables, Florida and initial planning for the firm's development of 10,000 acres in Weston, Florida. Mr. Schoendorf also served as the Vice President and Controller of a $750 million real estate brokerage business, with subsidiaries involved in mortgage banking, insurance and property management.
Prior to joining Berenfeld Spritzer in 2006, Mr. Schoendorf was a Director of Litigation Services for Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP.
Mr. Schoendorf is a Partner in the Litigation Support and Business Valuation Practice, where his responsibilities include management of the department's caseload of commercial and marital dispute resolution litigation cases.
