SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Isabel Goldberg is a Principal in the firm's Tax Consulting and Compliance group. She assists corporations, partnerships, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals with domestic and international tax matters, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Federal and state tax consulting
  • Wealth management and succession planning
  • Representation before taxing authorities

Ms. Goldberg works extensively with public and private corporations on a full range of tax matters, including:

  • Accounting for Income Taxes (FAS 109)
  • Accounting for Uncertain Tax Positions (FIN 48)
  • Net operating loss utilization in capital expansion programs and acquisitions

Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley imposes strict control and compliance requirements on public and some private companies. Ms. Goldberg assists non-audit clients with 404 tax requirements, including:
